The 103rd Ohio Infantry Regiment, sometimes 103rd Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry was a three-years' infantry regiment from northeastern Ohio that served in the Union Army during the American Civil War. Nachtjagdgeschwader 3, was the last Axis aircraft to crash on British soil during World War II. Confused by auto headlights, the fighter hit a tree while attacking the airfield at RAF Elvington and crashed at Sutton upon Derwent, Yorkshire; all four crew members were killed. Two other Ju 88s crashed in separate incidents at 1:37 and 1:45 am.
