Davinci Resolve 19 has Full wayland support. I tested beta 1 on my nvidia gpu on Wayland and has no UI glitching then with nvidia-smi and other tools confirmed full wayland support! thank you devs now i can fully ditch windows. well if you’re willing to stick to editing on an ipad and have a newer model, the price to upgrade to studio is only $95. It’s a 1 time $300 purchase, which is frankly an absolute bargain. The cheapest way to get the Studio version is to make enough money with the Free version until you can afford the Studio version.

Its absolutely incredible to me that anyone would pirate Resolve. Use the free version. If you're not a professional, you likely won't even notice the differences. If you are a professional, act like it and buy the software.
