Kulaura (Bengali: কুলাউড়া), is the biggest upazila (sub-district) of Moulvibazar District in north-eastern Bangladesh. [4] The total area of this upazila is 545 km 2 . Hakaluki Haor , the largest marsh wetland in Sylhet Division and one of the largest in Bangladesh is partially located there.
The Kulaura Railway Station, Sreemangal Railway Station is the main railway station providing trains on national routes operated by the state-run Bangladesh Railway. Also Bhanugach Railway Station, Tilagaon, Vatera, Rashidpur Station is used by local peoples. There is a public-use airport in Shamshernagar.

Tilagaon Union (Bengali: টিলাগাঁও ইউনিয়ন) is a Union Parishad under Kulaura Upazila of Moulvibazar District in the division of Sylhet, Bangladesh. [1] It has an area of 18 square kilometres and a population of 31868.
The tower was constructed in 1872 by Ali Amjad's father, Nawab Moulvi Ali Ahmed Khan, just two years before he was born. [7] [8] [9] Nawab Ali Amjad Khan was the 8th Nawab of the Prithimpasha estate in Kulaura, Moulvibazar.
