This is a list of the revenue divisions and taluks of Tamil Nadu, a southern state of India.These administrative units are classified based on the district. There are 38 districts in Tamil Nadu, and for revenue administration purposes, each district is divided into divisions, headed by a Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), which are further divided into taluks. Nilambur Taluk consists of 21 villages (Subdivision of Taluk), Eranad contains 23 villages, and Perinthalmanna Taluk consists of 24 revenue villages. [2]

Kuttippuram was the headquarters of a Revenue block (Firka) in Tirur Taluk. [9] The erstwhile Firkas were reshaped into Block Panchayats and were provided with the duty for block-level administration of Gram panchayats. Hence Kuttippuram Block Panchayat came into existence on 1 January 1962.
