The City of Union has a 1.5% municipal income tax. Income from salaries, wages, commissions, bonuses, profits from businesses and rents or any prizes or awards such as lottery winnings are taxable. All businesses, rental property owners or residents 18 years of age and older must file a tax return whether or not any tax is owned.
