I recently started a Plex server and wanted to add my old music files, so now I'm going through my collection and ripping music to FLAC and making sure I have at least a 1000px version of all the artwork. While most album covers are available elsewhere on the net, the quality and selection that this site offers is second to none. Imagine my surprise, when on Sunday last, when ...

I also got Gentle Gient - In A Glass House where part of the album art is on the booklet and part print outside the plastic of the jewel case. Any clues? It's been a little while but if I recall correctly, You have to look at which way the etched lines on the cover go and place these perpendicular (or was it parallel, dang!) to the scanning path.

Plus G'MIC works in both GIMP and PaintDotNet. So people who want to use PaintDotNet instead of GIMP can do this great descreening and content aware fill too. Plus G'MIC is being currently developed and is much easier to install. The process to do the Inpaint content aware fill in G'MIC takes some learning to learn how to do and how it works.
