Plus, you can do it yourself, at home, for very little cost. To apply, first THROUGHLY degrease the gun with a solvent. (Outside the house). Then apply a coat of paint with brush, spray can, or airbrush. Let stand for an hour to allow some of the paint solvent to evaporate. Then either let dry 24-36 hours, or bake in the oven at 300 degrees or ...

I have a 1957 vintage 2 3/4" 12ga Belgium Browning Superposed Lightning Grade-1 with modified over improved cylinder 28" tubes. The bores are in great shape. The stock and metal work show some light wear.
Check the local thrift stores like Salvation Army or GoodWill or Habitat for Humanity I bought all my ingot molds and cast iron pots there and paid as little as 50 cants to a couple dollars. You just never know what you can find useful in those places on the cheap.

The problem is I have no instructions with it and I don't know what type of fuel it uses. Years back I recall my cousin using one like mine to melt lead for casting large fishing weights to use when he was fishing for ...
Posts: 68. Geolund: Your Model 922 should have a letter I or J prefix to the serial number. You have a Model 922 Double Action First Model, Sixth Variation that was made in 1948-1949 and is indicated by the introduction of the 2 1/2" barrel length. It is obvious, by the overstrike of the numbers , that there was a malfunction in the serial ...
Better is to pull the barrel.Use good light, even magnification. From a supply like DME mold supply,or MSC tool catalogue, order a couple of Gesswein polishing stones. 600 grit would be Ok.Get an 800 or 900,too.You can shape your stone a bit on a grinder to enter the chamber. Soften edges.
Old Colt DA 38. OK. I have a Colt DA 38 in 38 Long Colt. There are parts missing and I am unsure on the ejector function. What this revolver needs is a crane lock, the crane lock screw and a mainspring strain screw. When cartridges are test ejected, (unfired) the ratchet star free wheels and snaps back in a unaligned position that blocks the ...
Posts: 393. Jeeeez, must have been circa 1966, when I replaced the FN hi-power barrel in the pistol an uncle brought back from Europe in WWII....was a combat infantry man in 4th Div. Think the FN pistol was made around 1942. Anyway original barrel had a nice bulge, so bought a replacement FN made barrel for it....cost around $15.
Sauer & Sohn model1913. I have inherited a Sauer & Sohn model 1913 6.35mm, (25 acp), serial # 99xx. On the left side of the slide it is stamped R.F.V. 31, both magazines are also marked with the 31 and roman numerals 1 and 2. The pistol is in quite nice condition. I'm curious as to its age and the RFV markings.
Use a patch and hot soapy water. You can follow up with a patch and good powder solvent to insure all powder residue has been removed. Then run clean dry patches through your barrel until it is clean and dry. Follow up with oil; bore butter, grease or some other lubricant to prohibit rust.
