At the Incarnate Word High School San Antonio, Texas classes run on a modular schedule. Each day is broken down into 17 time-periods called "mods." Mods are 20 minutes long, except the lunch mods, which are 26 minutes. The schedule is on a two-week cycle. There are no bells between mods, and students are responsible for arriving to classes on time.
Bell High School is known for is its excellent Criminal Justice program. Each year it participates in the Florida Public Service Association (FPSA) competition and won first place in at state competition in 2010–2011, 2011–2012, and 2012–2013. [ 5 ]

Montgomery Bell Academy's sports offerings include football, basketball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, and more. The school has won the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association's football championship fourteen times, from 1915 to 2014.
