The village of Richfield has six lakes and the largest one is Friess Lake. [4] [5] In 2008 the Wisconsin Department of Natural resources began trying to improve access to the lake. Grant money was used to make a boat launch on the 15-acre Little Friess Lake. Boaters can use the channel which leads from Little Friess to get to Friess Lake. [6]
Hubertus is an unincorporated community in the village of Richfield, Washington County, Wisconsin, United States. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] The community was named after the former St. Hubert Catholic parish , now joined with St. Gabriel Parish.
The St Hubertus & Oak Bay Vineyards were originally planted in 1928 by J.W. Hughes [1] during a time when good agricultural land was plentiful. The vineyards of St Hubertus and Oak Bay are some of the oldest in the Okanagan Valley. In 1984 Leo Gebert, originally from Switzerland, came to the Okanagan to start a winery.

The town itself was first named St. Hubertus before it became Chanhassen. The congregation was established by Father Aloysius Wewer in 1877. The 1887 building was actually the third building used by the congregation. It was built by John Geiser (1812–1902), who also carved the altar and built about 30 other churches in his lifetime.

Richard Francis Bilda (May 17, 1919 – November 29, 1996) was an American football player. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1919. [ 1 ] He attended the Marquette University High School , [ 1 ] graduating in 1937.
Ducey's Bass Lake Lodge, originally Freeman’s Bass Lake Lodge, is a historic establishment on the northern shore of Bass Lake. Built by Buddy Freeman in 1941, the lodge initially featured a bar, restaurant, and rental cabins. It changed ownership several times before becoming part of The Pines Resort in 1975.
