Brussels Airport (Dutch: Luchthaven Brussel, French: Aéroport de Bruxelles) (IATA: BRU, ICAO: EBBR) is the main international airport of Belgium.It is located in the municipality of Zaventem in Flemish Brabant, 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) northeast [2] of Brussels.
Brussels has an extensive network of both private or public transportation means. Public transportation includes Brussels buses, trams, and metro (all three operated by STIB/MIVB), as well as a set of railway lines (operated by Infrabel) and railway stations served by public trains (operated by the SNCB/NMBS).
The station was opened in 1958 in the old airport building, mainly for the 1958 Brussels World's Fair ().With the opening of a new airport terminal in 1994, the railway station was moved in 1998 to a new location inside the new building.
