Grenadier (Japanese: グレネーダー, Hepburn: Gurenēdā) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Sōsuke Kaise. It was serialized in Kadokawa Shoten 's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Shōnen Ace from April 2002 to March 2005, with its chapters collected in seven tankōbon volumes.
Not too far into the anime, Yajiro seems to hint having some feelings towards Rushuna, evident on numerous occasions where he either is embarrassed by her words, protects her without saying why, or shows jealousy towards her almost sisterly relationship with Mikan. In the manga, he belonged to a branch family of the Kojima clan.
Grenadier started with two one-offs in November 2000 and February 2001, but didn't begin regular serialisation until June 2002. At the end of 2004, a 12 episode anime series was created by Studio Live and Group TAC, and broadcast on the satellite station WOWOW. The seventh and last volume of the manga was published 26 May 2005.
