When she sits in the chair of the small bear, it breaks as a result. Continuing her exploration of the house, she finds the bears' beds. After trying the big bear's bed and the middle bear's bed and finding them unsuitable, she goes to sleep in the smallest bear's bed. When the bears return home, the story reaches its climax.
"Somebody's Been Sleeping", a 1969 song by 100 Proof (Aged in Soul) which tells of a man who suspects that another man has been sleeping in his bed. Although the song mimics the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, the man repeatedly says "Fe Fi Fo Fum." Goldilocks is a half-hour musical animated film, the audio tracks for which were recorded in the summer of 1969, produced strictly for television in 1970 by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises (known for their work on The Pink Panther, of which the animation style is strongly reminiscent) and produced with the assistance of Mirisch-Geoffrey Productions.
