James I (late July 1394 – 21 February 1437) was King of Scots from 1406 until his assassination in 1437. The youngest of three sons, he was born in Dunfermline Abbey to King Robert III and Annabella Drummond.

They had one daughter. After the death of his first wife (from cholera), he married, secondly, in 1840, the Hon. Charlotte Augusta Annabella Drummond-Willoughby (1815–1879), daughter of Peter Drummond-Burrell, 22nd Baron Willoughby de Eresby, and Lady Sarah Clementina Drummond. They had three sons and two daughters.
