Williamstown is a town in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, United States. It shares a border with Vermont to the north and New York to the west. Located in Berkshire County, the town is part of the Pittsfield, Massachusetts metropolitan statistical area. The population was 7,513 at the 2020 census. [1]
The Williamstown CDP is located in the northeastern part of the town of Williamstown at (42.709577, -73.197396). [3] Williams College occupies much of the center of the CDP. At the west side of campus is the intersection of U.S. Route 7 and Massachusetts Route 2.
