"The Exiles" is a science fiction short story by Ray Bradbury. It was originally published as " The Mad Wizards of Mars " in Maclean's on September 15, 1949 and was reprinted, in revised form, the following year by The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction .
The film is about Native Americans who have left their reservations in the Southwest. It follows them in Bunker Hill, a gritty neighborhood in Los Angeles. The Exiles was presented in September 2024 in the 'Centrepiece' section of the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). [7] It is expected to be released theatrically in Spain on 23 May 2025 by A Contracorriente Films. [8]
