The stretch of Tebrau Highway after this continues as Jalan Pandan and Jalan Kota Tinggi respectively, beyond Pandan. The highway became the backbone of the Johor Bahru road system linking Pandan to the city centre, and to the Johor–Singapore Causeway, before being surpassed by the Johor Bahru Eastern Dispersal Link Expressway in 2012.
Pandan Indah is a state constituency in Selangor, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Selangor State Legislative Assembly since 2018, replacing Chempaka which was used from 2004 until 2018. It has been represented by Member of the State Executive Council (EXCO) Izham Hashim of Pakatan Harapan (PH) since 2018.
The station is accessible from two branch roads, one off Jalan Cempaka (Cempaka Road) from the north and another off Jalan Pandan Indah 6/1 (Pandan Indah Road 6/1). The station was constructed along two leveled tracks, reusing the now defunct Federated Malay States Railway and Malayan Railway route between Kuala Lumpur, Ampang town and Salak South.
