After crossing into North Great River, the route winds through the park as a two-lane roadway, paralleling the Montauk Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. NY 27A then reaches exit 46 of NY 27 (Sunrise Highway), entering Great River. At this interchange, NY 27A terminates, while CR 85 continues east along Montauk Highway. [4]
