Majungasaurus (/ m ə ˌ dʒ ʌ ŋ ɡ ə ˈ s ɔː r ə s /; lit. ' Mahajanga lizard ') is a genus of abelisaurid theropod dinosaur that lived in Madagascar from 70 to 66 million years ago, at the end of the Cretaceous Period, making it one of the last-known non-avian dinosaurs that went extinct during the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event.
Suchomimus might also be a junior synonym of the contemporaneous spinosaurid Cristatusaurus lapparenti, although the latter taxon is based on much more fragmentary remains. Suchomimus lived in a fluvial environment of vast floodplains alongside many other dinosaurs, in addition to pterosaurs, crocodylomorphs, bony fishes, testudines, and bivalves.
The Nublar Six work together to distract the Suchomimus, with Kenji putting himself in danger to do so. Zayna and Aminata retrieve the Stegosauruses and lead them back to the farm to drive the Suchomimus away. Having climbed a tree to finally get a signal, Ben verifies Brooklynn's identity in the DLN video but withholds this information from ...

Tetanurae (/ˌtɛtəˈnjuːriː/ or "stiff tails") is a clade that includes most theropod dinosaurs, including megalosauroids, allosauroids, and coelurosaurs (which includes tyrannosauroids, ornithomimosaurs, compsognathids and maniraptorans, the latter including living birds). [1]
Some of their supposed distinguishing features are also seen in parts of the braincase of Suchomimus, their closest relative. The results of their phylogenetic analysis (with Ceratosuchops and Riparovenator scored together) yielded similar results to those of Barker et al. (2021), with the Wessex baryonychine fossils recovered as the sister ...
Masiakasaurus lived from 72.1 to 66 million years ago, along with animals such as Majungasaurus, Rapetosaurus, and Rahonavis. Masiakasaurus was a member of the group Noasauridae, small predatory ceratosaurs found primarily in South America.
Mahajangasuchus was a medium to large sized crocodylomorph, characterized by a strongly arched jugal, depressions beneath the orbit, a broad platyrostral snout, a massive choanal septum, a broad and rounded anterior edge of the dentary, ziphodont teeth and short mandibular symphysis, reaching posteriorly only to the posterior margin of the 2nd alveolous, superficially resembling the Cenozoic ...
