Blowing Rock is a town in Watauga and Caldwell counties in the U.S. state of North Carolina.The population was 1,376 at the 2020 census. [4]The Caldwell County portion of Blowing Rock is part of the Hickory–Lenoir–Morganton Metropolitan Statistical Area, while the Watauga County portion is part of the Boone Micropolitan Statistical Area.
The park provides over 100 picnic sites, various campgrounds, rest rooms, nature walks, hiking trails, and a 300-seat amphitheater. Visitors can also rent canoes and boats for use on Price Lake. [8] Many residents of the towns of Boone and Blowing Rock, which are nearby, partake in fishing, hiking, and canoeing in the park. [9]
The ski rental repository has 2125 pairs of skis, 450 snowboards, and 75 skiboards. Equipment that can be rented includes bibs, gloves, jackets, goggles, and helmets. [1] The lodge has a slopeside restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A gift shop and ski shop is also located in the lodge. [3]
