Glenfield Park is a county park in Montclair and a small part in Glen Ridge, both in Essex County, New Jersey. It has 19-acre (77,000 m 2) in Montclair, and 1-acre (4,000 m 2) in Glen Ridge. [1] It shares a name with the nearby Glenfield Middle School. Glenfield Park is part of the Essex County Park System.
A pear-shaped main loop surrounds the meadow; a smaller inner loop diverges on the southeast end of the park. The park is popular with families, joggers, dog walkers, picnickers, and athletes. Each June, the park is home to the Music Under the June Moon chamber music concert, and in September the Fine Arts and Crafts Fair comes to the park. [3]
