The city of Xenia, the county seat of Greene County, occupies much of Xenia Township, part of the city of Fairborn is in the northwest, and the census-designated place of Wilberforce is located in the township's northeast.

In that year, Hollander-American pioneer John Paul bought 2,000 acres (8.1 km 2) of land from Thomas and Elizabeth Richardson of Hanover County, Virginia, for "1050 pounds current moneys of Virginia."

Xenia Station was designed by Schooley Caldwell Architects in 1998 and custom built for the city of Xenia by a local contractor [3] and is located on a 9-acre (36,000 m 2) city park of the same name, which has play equipment, picnic tables, a picnic shelter, nature areas, a splash pad, a caboose and off-street parking.
A post office was established at Wilkins Run in 1858, and remained in operation until 1902. [2] The community was named for Henry and Daniel Wilkins, early settlers. [ 3 ]
