YEIDA City, also known as "Yamuna City", is a new planned city initiative by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) and the third in the Gautam Budh Nagar district, following Noida and Greater Noida.
The district was established under British rule in 1818 and, on establishment, constituted the then tehsils of Meerut, Ghaziabad, Mawana, Baghpat, Sardhana and Hapur. [4] [5] These now constitute the districts of Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Bagpat, Muzaffarnagar, Bulandshahr and a part of Gautam Buddh Nagar district.
In October 2016, Bihar cabinet approved the Patna master plan 2031 which envisages development of Bihta Airport. [4] Bihar government is acquiring 126 acres of land for construction of the new airport. [5] 17.6 km 2 of area in Dumri Village in Punpun block of Patna (PMR) has been allocated for IT Park.
