My face is only slightly red right after washing and then it calms down. Make sure to not use hot water on your face, (it damages moisture barrier) don’t scrub your face with anything, use gentle face wash, moisturize with something like cerave PM or cerave cream in the tub, and apply it to damp skin to retain more water.
Wow sucks :( I just started and my face is red and I tot it would go away after few days after applying hydrating cream. Sucks because my face doesn't really have acne, it's mostly my back. So I just have a red face lol. I guess I'll have to live with that for the rest of my treatement
also, avéne is a fantastic brand for sensitive formulas and I would recommend a gentle face wash from them, they have a few different types for whatever your face wash preference is (i.e. lotion cleanser, oil cleanser, etc.). if you aren't using a face wash I would definitely recommend using one in the evenings to wash off the sunscreen :-)
Accutane makes your skin thinner. If you're a pale person, that means you'll look a lot more red than you're used to. I'm currently looking more skin coloured than I'm used to, because my inflammation was angry red and it's gone down, but when I started topical tretinoin, back when it wasn't as bad, I noticed I had a permanent flush to my cheeks.
Seems like your skin is irritated by something. I have rosacea, but before I was officially diagnosed, my entire face was red all the time. I looked into it, and then tried eliminating all fragranced products from my daily routine, cleanser and makeup included.
1.5 Months of carnivore, feel great! not losing any weight but that's fine whatever.. I noticed after working out I AM BEET RED! It's almost embarrassing at the gym. To top it off too, I can't even go and let the redness flush away because it stays there for a good 2 hours after.
Red face Before trt, My face used to flush and blush ocassionally but not frequently. Ive been on trt for about 6 weeks and all of a sudden about a week and a half ago, my face has been nonstop red and flushed really badly I think it may be an elevated rbc count maybe?
Red light has a longer wavelength (around 630nm) and penetrates deeper into the skin. It promotes wound healing, reduces inflammation, and stimulates collagen production. By addressing the inflammatory component of acne and promoting skin repair, red light therapy can help to prevent future breakouts and maintain clearer skin.
I use vanicream cleanser and moisturizer. Doesn’t get much more gentle than that- I still get a beet red face. Yes I am German and Irish, it just happens. It goes away after a minute or two. No burning, no itching, just redness. I take cool showers, still happens. It truly is just the effect of me gently rubbing my face.
The redness on the face seems to have a line distinguishing it from where something was applied, and not. What is causing this if there is a product that’s known to do this? I’ve seen this on Dr Dray as well where the face is more red than say the neck E: The amount of downvotes on all my comment is funny.
