Kapangan, officially the Municipality of Kapangan, (Ilocano: Ili ti Kapangan; Tagalog: Bayan ng Kapangan), is a municipality in the province of Benguet, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 19,297 people.

Bado Maduway Dangwa (May 5, 1905 – March 18, 1976 [1]) was a Filipino entrepreneur, soldier and politician who founded the Dangwa Transportation Company, one of the biggest transport firms in the northern Philippines, and served as the twelfth Governor of Benguet.
Kibungan is known in the province of Benguet as the town with unique mountains often mistaken to resemble those of Switzerland. Deep ravines and cliffs separate and isolate many sitios and some barangays. Although some plateaus, hills and small valleys can be seen in the locality, Kibungan is dominantly mountainous.
