Hudson is located in southeastern Hillsborough County along the southern edge of New Hampshire, with its southern boundary forming the Massachusetts state line.According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 29.3 square miles (75.8 km 2), of which 28.3 square miles (73.3 km 2) are land and 0.97 square miles (2.5 km 2) are water, comprising 3.35% of the town.

The western segment of NH 111A is a 4.935-mile-long (7.942 km) northeast–southwest loop road in Hollis and Nashua in Hillsborough County. The segment is signed east–west. The eastern terminus is in Nashua at NH 111, west of the point where NH 111 and U.S. Route 3 meet. At that location, NH 111A is known as Main Dunstable Road.
NH 111A begins at a junction with NH 128 just north of the Massachusetts border, going primarily northeast, exiting the town into Windham. It is known as Marsh Road and Windham Road within Pelham. NH 128 is part of the larger Mammoth Road which connects Lowell, Massachusetts, to Hooksett, New Hampshire.

The state route logs show that the end of the road is at the junction with Ferry Street (New Hampshire Route 111) in Hudson, and the end of NH 102 is marked at that intersection westbound.
