Son Gohan (Japanese: 孫 悟飯) is a fictional character in the Japanese franchise Dragon Ball created by Akira Toriyama.Gohan is the first son of the protagonist Son Goku and his wife Chi-Chi and made his appearance in chapter #196 "Kakarrot", published in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine on October 8, 1988.
Series creator Akira Toriyama explained that Mr. Satan is a ring name akin to an in-ring persona or character used by real-life professional wrestlers. Gohan assumes his Super Saiyan 2 form in an effort to defeat Broly who transforms into his Legendary Super Saiyan form. Gohan successfully lures Broly into a pit of lava which consumes him and Gohan passes out from exhaustion before being rescued by Krillin. Moments later, Broly re-emerges and attacks Gohan after incapacitating Krillin.
