On 16 February 1960, Adamjee Cantonment College started its journey as an English-medium school founded by Gul Muhammad Adamjee (son of Sir Adamjee Haji Dawood, founder of Adamjee Group), The institution was later renamed Adamjee Cantonment College. A public school attached to the college served students through the first to tenth grade.
In mathematics, an algebraic structure consists of a nonempty set A (called the underlying set, carrier set or domain), a collection of operations on A (typically binary operations such as addition and multiplication), and a finite set of identities (known as axioms) that these operations must satisfy.
[9] [10] At that time, it followed the curriculum of British Public School and offered education in only six classes, from class four to nine. Mr. Dolman, a British educationist, was the first principle of the school. Subsequently, with further expansion of the institution, it was converted into a college and was named as Adamjee Cantonment ...
For a nilpotent group, the smallest n such that G has a central series of length n is called the nilpotency class of G; and G is said to be nilpotent of class n. (By definition, the length is n if there are n + 1 {\displaystyle n+1} different subgroups in the series, including the trivial subgroup and the whole group.)
All India Secondary School Examination, commonly known as the class 10th board exam, is a centralized public examination that students in schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, primarily in India but also in other Indian-patterned schools affiliated to the CBSE across the world, taken at the end of class 10.
Computation of the sum 2 + 5 + 8 + 11 + 14. When the sequence is reversed and added to itself term by term, the resulting sequence has a single repeated value in it, equal to the sum of the first and last numbers (2 + 14 = 16). Thus 16 × 5 = 80 is twice the sum.
The problem for examination is evaluation of an integral of the form (,) , where D is some two-dimensional area in the xy–plane. For some functions f straightforward integration is feasible, but where that is not true, the integral can sometimes be reduced to simpler form by changing the order of integration.
The arithmetic mean (or simply mean or average) of a list of numbers, is the sum of all of the numbers divided by their count. Similarly, the mean of a sample , usually denoted by , is the sum of the sampled values divided by the number of items in the sample. For example, the arithmetic mean of five values: 4, 36, 45, 50, 75 is:
