The Ford Ranger (T6) is a range of mid-size pickup trucks manufactured and sold by Ford Motor Company since 2011. The T6 consolidated worldwide production of the Ranger onto a single model range, replacing both the 1998–2012 Ranger marketed in North America and South America and the Mazda-derived Ranger sold in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and several Latin American markets.
The rear suspension of the Raptor no longer uses leaf springs, opting instead to have coil springs and a five link setup with Panhard bar. The 2022 Raptor R’s 5.2L Carnivore supercharged V8 produced 700 hp (520 kW) and 640 lb⋅ft (870 N⋅m). For 2023, the Raptor R’s torque was increased to 645 lb⋅ft (875 N⋅m).
Exclusive to South America, the update replaced the hood, front fenders and bumper with a more aggressive design; to allow for a more aggressive stance, large wheel arches were included.
