The arena's first event was an arena football game, featuring the Georgia Force – February 16, 2003 [5] The Force played here a total of five seasons, 2003–04, 2008, and 2011–12. Atlanta Gladiators (2003–present) Known as the Gwinnett Gladiators from 2003 to 2015, before changing to their current name.
They play their home games at Gas South Arena, approximately 22 miles (35 km) northeast of Atlanta. The franchise originated as the Mobile Mysticks in 1995. As of the 2020 census , Duluth had a population of 31,873, and the United States Census Bureau estimated the population to be 31,864 as of 2021.
