A steam fair or (steam rally) is a regular organised gathering of historic steam-powered vehicles and machinery, open to the public. Typical exhibits include: traction engines , steam rollers , steam wagons , and steam cars .
The rally has been running successfully since June 1998 and was awarded charitable status in 1999. All proceeds from the event go to the Irish Cancer Society. The rally takes place every June Bank Holiday weekend in Innishannon, Cork. The founding of the event was led by well known steam preservationist Tim Nagle of Kinsale.

Pageant of Steam is an annual steam fair held on Gehan Road near Canandaigua, New York (Town of Hopewell) between Rochester and Syracuse. It started in 1960 and is hosted by the New York Steam Engine Association. The pageant is held the second full weekend of August, starting on Wednesday and continuing through Saturday.
