Amazon changed the terms of their movie purchase and rentals. Long story short, they made it so most devices (like TiVo Stream) can no longer purchase or rent most movies directly. You have to use the Amazon website or app on your phone to make the purchase directly thru Amazon. Once you do that it will then appear in your 'My Stuff' section on ...

If you subscribe to Sling, you can get them to send you a free network adapter. The adapter connects to your home TV antenna and your router. You can then watch local channels thru the Sling app on your TV Stream 4k. Even if you later stop paying for sling, you keep the adapter, and the locals will still work in the sling app.
Advantages versus Stream 4K I've seen already: 1. Dedicated Remote buttons for rew, play/pause, ff that actually work in the video apps I care about (Netflix, Prime Video and HBO NOW). 2. Much more responsive for pause/play, ff, rew remote presses, especially in Prime Video. 3.

1. We have Direct TV. We pay additionally for Netflix and Amazon Prime. We want to get rid of Direct TV. 2. I have a good roof-top antenna and, being near Houston, we get lots of channels. 3. We have five different TVs. We would like to record from two or three of them. 4. We want to playback recordings for all five. 5.
Last night I fired up Amazon Prime video on one of my TiVo Minis for the first time. About a minute into the video stream, I received a low bandwidth warning from the Prime Video app followed by stuttering that made the stream unwatchable. This issue seems to be exclusive to Prime Video because Netflix, Hulu, Plex, and DVR streams from the TiVo ...
A Recast and a pair of sticks would (probably, on Prime Day) get the job done for less than $300). If you choose to add OTT content, Sony's Vue and Philo integrate right into the Recast program guide. You can also add Prime Channels (assuming you have Prime) and those channels show up in the Recast guide. Amazon Prime: Something for Everyone
