Thomas Anthony Daly (born April 30, 1960) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He has been serving as bishop of the Diocese of Spokane in Washington State since May 20, 2015. He previously served as an auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of San José in California from 2011 to 2015.
Thomas Francis Gilroy Daly (February 25, 1931 – July 11, 1996) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. He was the younger brother of Michael J. Daly , who received the Medal of Honor in 1945 for actions during World War II.
Daly further stated that "BLM is in conflict with Church teaching regarding marriage, family and the sanctity of life." [28] He condemned the "horrific and unjustified" murder of George Floyd and outlined steps that the diocese would take with Catholic Charities to address racism. As of 2023, Daly is the current bishop of the Diocese of Spokane.
