Cooch Behar Rash Mela (commonly known as just Rash Mela or Ras Mela; Bengali: রাস মেলা) is the annual winter carnival in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India which is organised on the occasion of Rash Purnima every year between the months of November and December every year since the rule of the 17th King of Koch Bihar Maharaja Harendra Narayan.
Kali Puja which coincides with the North Indian festival of Diwali is a major festival of West Bengal, and probably the second largest after Durga Puja. Goddess Kali is worshipped at night in thousands of pandals, homes and temples. Kali Puja is light-up night for Bengal as well as for Kolkata.

An integral part of Manasa Puja is the Arandhan or Ranna Puja.Depending on the place in West Bengal, the Manasa and Ashtanag Puja begins on any Saturday or Tuesday and on every fifth day from Naga Panchami during the Bhadro month of Bengali calendar, and on Bhadro Sankranti, Manasa and Ashtanag Puja are completed and Bisarjan is performed.
