It will be about 5 feet wide and be attached to walls on both sides. I plan to use angle brackets for this. I want to use a prefab counter like these ones you can find and lowes and hd....
I had assumed the countertop depth would be 25" which covers the base cabinet and door/drawer fronts and leaves a 1/4" extra as someone else replied, this was my past expierience with plastic laminate countertops. However after having spoken with 2 granite fabricators and 2 cabinet men I learned that common practice is 25 3/4"-26" countertop depth.

The countertop is the laminate type and the center is press wood for lack of better term. I would like to install this and have it look as good as possible. The old cooktop is about 31" and new is 29" and then some.
I recently replaced my old dishwasher with a Bosch SHE68M05C. While it does specify a 24" deep countertop, the last 2" of that space are reserved for plumbing/electrical. Lower 4", that space is about 3.5" wide. As far as I can recall, there are no protruding parts on the back, so it should fit under a 22" deep counter - provided your supply ...

Most likely will still need to provide access through the countertop, as the machine connections are almost always low enough to be behind the machine, so you will not only have to reach 30" back, but 4 or 5 " down. A simple drop in lid with a finger hole, supported by a rabitted lip will work fine.
Most seem to be 24" without handle and <29" with handle. I've found counter depth refrigerators, but that's cause a standard fridge is ~30" deep. Best buy has depth as a sorting criteria, but w/ vs w/o handle makes that feature tough to use. Florida Panhandle. MTN REMODEL LLC, SPS-1 and CaptTom.

However, if the unit is one of those super-high-capacity things like mine, it is deeper than a typical dishwasher and will only go back so far. Mine sticks out a good 3/4-inch beyond the door faces because it simply won't go back any farther.
If your quartz is 3/4 thick with somekind of rolled or applied selfedge then we put 5/8 plywood under it. If its the thicker 3cm (1-1/4 thick), no plywood is needed. Reply Like. When I search counter-depth fridges, -the first two LG models that came up were 21 and 26 cubic feet-the first two Samsung models that came up were 22.6 and 24.7 cubic feet. all about the same size, give or take a fraction of an inch. I don't see a significant difference in capacity between the two brands.
