Performance Rockin' the Fillmore is the 1971 live double-LP/single-CD by the English blues-rock group Humble Pie, recorded at the Fillmore East in New York City on May 28–29, 1971. It reached No. 21 on the Billboard 200 , #32 in Canada, [ 5 ] and entered the UK Top 40.
Released in late 1972, it was composed by the band's guitarist/singer Steve Marriott for the group's fifth album Smokin' (1972). The song received minor airplay at the time and failed to chart. However, it gained a following on album oriented rock (AOR) and classic rock radio formats, and consequently remains one of Humble Pie's best-known songs.
