Edward Liddall Armitage or E. Liddall Armitage (1887–1967) was an English stained-glass designer. [1] He studied and worked with Karl Parsons and Henry Holiday before going into partnership with Victor Drury. In the 1940s to the early 1960s, Armitage was the chief stained glass designer for James Powell and Sons.

Charles Jay Connick (1875–1945) was a prominent American painter, muralist, and designer best known for his work in stained glass in the Gothic Revival style. [2] Born in Springboro, Pennsylvania, Connick eventually settled in the Boston area where he opened his studio in 1913.
He served as President of the Stained Glass Association of America, 1929–1930. [18] He was a member of the Philadelphia Board of Education (1934–1948), and organized art exhibitions that toured the city's public schools. [19] The University of Pennsylvania hosted a 1938 exhibition of D'Ascenzo's paintings, drawings and stained glass. [20]
In 1926 he became a student at the Dublin Metropolitan School of Art and he entered the stained glass studio of Harry Clarke in 1928. [3] Clarke died in early 1931, of tuberculosis while trying to recuperate in Switzerland. King completed the ongoing work on the windows of St. Mel's Cathedral in Longford, and managed the studio from 1935 to 1940.
