Quenby Mall, now known as Stanly County Commons, was a shopping mall located in Stanly County, North Carolina, United States. It was anchored by Belk , JCPenney , and Harris Teeter . The mall opened in 1966, and it was sold to Stanly County for their use in 1993.
In December 2013, after several offers, the Stanly County School Board voted to sell the old building to the city for $150,000. [6] The old Central School buildings are part of a downtown revitalization project funded partly by tax credits for historic preservation of the school buildings. [7]
