L.S. Ayres Annex Warehouse, also known as Elliott's Block Nos. 14-22, is a historic warehouse building located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built in 1875 by the L.S. Ayres department store, and is a three-story, rectangular Italianate style brick building with an elaborate cast iron first story storefront.
At the park's groundbreaking on September 18, 2008, Maxwell L. Anderson, director and chief executive officer for the Indianapolis Museum of Art at the time, said: (We are) taking a property which began in effect as an industrial site after it left the natural one, became a wasteland, and then nature reclaimed it.
