Ellenton is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Manatee County, Florida, United States. The population was 4,129 at the 2020 census, down from 4,275 at the 2010 census. [2] It is part of the North Port-Bradenton-Sarasota, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.
The Manatee County Courthouse, built in 1913, is a historic courthouse building located at 1115 Manatee Avenue, West, in Bradenton, Florida. On June 11, 1998, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places .
A post office called Duette was established on July 17, 1888. It remained in operation until January 2, 1907.
