[5] In 2008, 76% of the school's seniors received a high school diploma. Of 411 students, 311 graduated, 73 dropped out, eight received a modified diploma, and 19 were still in high school in 2009. The unrelated Centennial, Oregon post office near Delta Park in North Portland served the Oregon statehood Centennial Exposition from June to September 1959. [ 2 ] Prior being annexed by Portland, the community was enumerated as a " Census-designated place " in 1980, when the community recorded a population of 22,118. [ 3 ]

Cleveland Heights High School was established in 1901 by the Cleveland Heights Board of Education. The building that is currently being used opened in 1926. [6] The student population was 1,772 as of the 2018–2019, school year with 15.02 student/teacher ratio.
