The highway is in the RM of Blucher No. 343 and runs from Highway 16 near Clavet north to Highway 5. It is a primary weight highway and the land around it is an industrial and commercial area. Clavet is located along an old section of the Saskatchewan Highway 16, just south of where it joins with Saskatchewan Highway 316. It is now bypassed by a double lane version of Highway 16 and is accessible from Highway 316. The Saskatoon/Corman Air Park is located west of Clavet. The Canadian National Railway passes through the village of Clavet.

Highway 394, also known as Patience Lake Road, is an unsigned provincial highway in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It starts near an intersection between Highway 16 and Zimmerman Road (Range Road 3044) near Saskatoon, and goes eastward to Highway 316 north of Clavet. [2] It is about 10.5 kilometres (6.5 mi) long.
