Silly Songs with Larry is a regular feature segment in Big Idea's CGI cartoon series, VeggieTales.Often secular, they generally consist of Larry the Cucumber singing a humorous child's novelty song either alone or with some of the other Veggie characters.
The series takes place in "The Box", a playhouse made entirely of cardboard boxes, where two hosts, Tony James and Vivian Bayubay McLaughlin, make crafts, sing songs, and act out plays. Two special episodes were released on VHS by Walt Disney Home Video, Out of the Box: Trick or Treat , and Out of the Box: Happy Holidays .
Some of the skits such as the short story for Dorothy's Birthday Party were removed. Two new songs, "Pufferbillies" and "Havenu Shalom Alechem", were added. In the North American and UK versions, "Teddy Bear Hug" and "Numbers Rhumba" were replaced by videos featuring the Wiggle Puppets. The Wiggles use logos on their shirts.
After the payoff of the running gag, all of the bunnies gather to sing the closing song "It's a Bunnytown Life", followed by a bunny blowing on a party horn. The Bunnytown segments Two Best Friends (Red and Fred) and Super Silly Sports were formerly shown in bumper segments on Disney Junior .
