Poundland planned to open a store in Biggleswade, dubbed "Motherland", the logo featured a similar logo to the retailer Mothercare. On 9 February 2024, Mothercare sent a cease and desist to the discount retailer, the store was renamed to "Parentland" and now uses the same font as the Poundland logo. [115]
