I have the itch for something new, no real reason. So I'm thinking of a plain Jane 17 Gen 5 but then there's the new DR920 Elite. After adding Ameriglos to the Glock the price difference will be about $350 out the door. I have a plain Gen 3 17 so maybe something different and "Gucci" would be fun.

Factory model numbers only matter. Take a 17 slide and put it on a 19 frame, it can only be called a 17 Compact. 17 because that is Glock's full size pistol model (17 is on the darn slide people) and compact because the 19 is the compact version. 19L makes no sense.
