The Punisher War Journal or Punisher War Journal is the title of two Marvel Comics comic book series featuring the character Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher. The first volume, published from 1988 to 1995 , was spun off of a self-titled series featuring the vigilante's exploits.
Rapido was introduced in the "Eurohit" story-arc that ran through The Punisher Vol. 2, #64-70, [2] and returned in the "Suicide Run" installments The Punisher War Journal Vol. 1, #61 and The Punisher War Zone Vol. 1, #23, [3] as well as the "Eurohit" sequel contained within The Punisher Annual Vol. 2, #7.
In The Punisher Noir, Frank Castelione is a veteran of World War I who has a winged version of a skull tattooed on his chest. His wife died from cancer and Castelione is killed by Jigsaw, Barracuda and the Russian after a fight.

The Punisher War Journal is an American comic book series published from 1988 to 1995 by Marvel Comics featuring the character Frank Castle, also known as the vigilante the Punisher. [1] It was the first ever spin-off for the character and the first series of the title The Punisher War Journal .
The series was split up in different story arcs which tended to last several issues. The first story arc was Psychoville U.S.A. which lasted from issue 12 to 16, the next was The Jericho Syndrome beginning with issue 17 and ending in 19, third was Suicide Run from 23 to 25, after that was Conan with a Gun starting from 26 and lasting to issue 30, later was River of Blood picking up from issue ...
It is the fourth ongoing series to feature the Punisher after the 1987 series, The Punisher War Journal (1988–1995), and The Punisher War Zone (1992–1995). The series was published by the Marvel Comics imprint Marvel Edge and ran for 18 issues from November 1995 to April 1997, all written by John Ostrander .
