Aletha Jauch Solter (born 1945) is a Swiss/American developmental psychologist who studied with Jean Piaget in Switzerland before earning a PhD in psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
It was established in 1942 as the Schweizerische Zeitschrift für Psychologie with Jean Piaget as founding editor-in-chief. The journal was published until 2020, after which 2 successor journals, the European Journal of Psychology Open and Swiss Psychology Open, were launched. [1] [2] [3]
