An acinus (/ ˈ æ s ɪ n ə s /; pl.: acini; adjective, acinar / ˈ æ s ɪ n ər / or acinous) refers to any cluster of cells that resembles a many-lobed "berry", such as a raspberry (acinus is Latin for "berry").
