The arena's naming rights were awarded to Idaho Central Credit Union on a 35-year deal following a $10 million gift to the university to assist with the construction. In October 2021, Idaho opened the new Idaho Central Credit Union Arena, north of the west end of the Kibbie Dome, to house men's and women's basketball. [ 70 ] [ 71 ] The first game in the new arena was a men's exhibition against NAIA member Evergreen State on October 29. [ 72 ]
