Blas Infante Pérez de Vargas (5 July 1885 – 11 August 1936) was an Andalusian socialist politician, [2] Georgist, [3] writer, historian and musicologist. He is considered the "father of Andalusia" by Andalusian nationalists .

Lole y Manuel was a gitano (Spanish Romani) musical duo formed by singer Dolores Montoya Rodríguez (1954-) and guitarist Manuel Molina Jiménez (1948-2015). They composed and performed innovative flamenco music between 1972 and 1993. This couple was the first exponent of flamenco music aimed at a non-exclusively flamenco audience.
The Argentine National Anthem (Himno Nacional Argentino) was adopted as the sole official song of Argentina on 11 May 1813—three years after the May Revolution.Its lyrics were written by the Buenos Aires-born politician Vicente López y Planes and the music was composed by the Spanish musician Blas Parera.
