Penegak Laksana is a level after Penegak Bantara in Penegak age group. A Scout can earn this level after they fulfill requirements from the Penegak/Rover Handbook. One can be easily identified as Penegak Laksana by the shoulder board on his/her uniform. The difference between the Bantara and Laksana shoulder board is the word written on it.
Rover Scouts (Pramuka Penegak) – ages 16 to 20 or equal to senior high school's 10th to 12th grade, consisting of: Penegak Bantara; Penegak Laksana; Venturer Scouts (Pramuka Pandega) – ages 21 to 25 or equal to academy or university students. Adult members – ages 26 and older
